About Rhiannon
I'm a student with a love of all STEM subjects which has largely culminated in an interest particularly in biophysics although I have chosen to study biomedical sciences at university. I have a background of both traditional and non-traditional education but across both, I have always strived to do more and learn more whether through taking university level online courses in neuroscience alongside my GCSEs or teaching myself Python (programming) and cybersecurity alongside my A Levels.
I have experience working with younger people through events in sixth form such as where I worked on a presentation and interactive session for lower school students as part of a leadership role but also through volunteering with the Summer Reading Challenge at my local library, helping run arts and crafts sessions with my local community and even helping my younger brother on a regular basis through his studies.

For chemistry, I achieved a 9 at GCSE (triple science) and am predicted an A* at A Level. I have used Edexcel and AQA exam boards but I can adjust to whichever exam board is needed as much of the content is conserved.
I have informal experience of being a tutor and formal experience of being a tutee so I’m hoping to combine them to give your child the support they need. I understand and respect the flexibility in the teaching required by many students due to my own experiences so I do not have a one size fits all plan but will instead look for ways to amalgamate my way of learning and teaching with your child's in order for us to be on the same page and for your child to get the most out of it as possible.
I offer hour-long lessons to fit your schedule but am happy to have an informal chat to discuss your aims further to see if I’m the right fit for your child as well as a half-hour trial session.
