About YUK LEUNG
I am an experienced Computer Science teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience in Hong Kong and the UK, currently teaching in a private school. I am also a textbook author and have worked as a public examination marker, which gives me a strong understanding of exam standards and marking criteria.
My background allows me to identify common student difficulties quickly and provide clear, structured guidance to help them improve. I focus on building both understanding and exam technique, ensuring students not only know the content but can apply it effectively in exams.

My lessons focus on helping students achieve top grades in GCSE and A Level Computer Science through a structured, exam-focused approach. Drawing on my experience as a private school teacher, textbook author and public exam marker, I teach students exactly how to meet mark scheme requirements and maximise their scores.
Lessons are tailored to each student, whether they need to strengthen core understanding or improve exam performance. I provide targeted support for key topics including algorithms, programming, data structures and computational thinking, as well as guidance for A Level coursework (NEA).
A strong emphasis is placed on common exam mistakes, effective answering techniques and structured practice. Students gain clear strategies to improve accuracy, confidence and overall performance in exams.
