About Michael
I have been teaching maths in a very good school for the past 15 years. I graduated in mechanical engineering and worked in industry for a few years. I was volunteering as a way of giving back to my community by tutoring local pupils in GCSE maths. I soon realised how much I enjoyed these sessions. I then trained as a maths teacher and I have not looked back. I have a wealth of experience in working with young people, in helping them improve in maths.

I have a relaxed approach to learning maths. I believe my students should own their learning. Consequently, I let them choose their weaker areas and we work collaboratively to improve their subject knowledge and exam technique. My mantra for learning maths is constant practice. With practice it is possible to improve in maths, however weak you may be.
