GCSE English tuition from a Grade 9 student in Language and Literature

With Imogen my daughter went from a 2 in English Literature mocks to a 9 in her GCSE final result.

I cannot recommend Imogen highly enough. Simply put she gets results because she’s invested in her pupils. Imogen is patient and kind which goes a long way when a child is struggling with their studies.

She does the work, spends the time to understand what aspects of the subject are the weakest and plans everything from there. She kept me updated from start to finish with my daughter and when she felt that she wasn’t needed as much she told me, which shows her ethical side.

I think Imogen’s main gift is that no matter how bright she is she never once made my daughter feel like she wasn’t clever or incapable. She empowered her with confidence to go into her exams and smash them.

All in all Imogen is an excellent tutor.
