About Ariana
Hello, thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
I have helped people see high improvements in their grades, not just in GCSE, but also KS3 and KS2. I also offer lessons to improve general English. I have completed two English qualifications in both A Level and GCSE!! (Grades listed further down)
About Me:
I am a friendly, creative, and non-judgmental person, who loves to see students fall back in love with their studies. Art, poetry, literature and writing are areas that I am passionate in, and believe that I can instill some of my passion within others.
I want the best for my students, to learn, to succeed and to see them push themselves beyond their abilities. Tutoring is something I have always been interested in. I really enjoy helping others and seeing their character growth.
I can relate extremely well with the pressures of exams, having been through them recently myself. This being said, I am able to help you improve your exam technique, revision skills and introduce useful websites/notes which have aided me in gaining my high grades:

I am able to incentivize each student differently, and work with different styles of motivation. If needed be I can be stricter, provide homework, set more exciting goals, and targets which are harder to achieve.
For Art GCSE and A Level support:
My services include portfolio building and strengthening - an area which pushed me up to the A* territory! I have learnt how to deal with tricky Art teachers in the past, and know the cheat codes in how to get you to succeed high marks!
If you are a student seeking a scholarship at another school and need guidance on how to build and improve your portfolio - that is also an area I can help you with!
My Experience:
I currently am tutoring two students online. In the past year I have tutored younger students on a volunteering mentor scheme, which I found rewarding as I helped them progress. From this I learnt that different people find different things hard; if you cannot do something, it is nothing to be ashamed of. I found that some people have minds that work differently than others - together we can find a technique that works for you! I have in-person experience helping younger students with practical skills in Art such as painting, drawing, and other forms of mixed media. I recently ran an after school club at my old school aimed at primary school students looking to strengthen their creativity skills!

The Sessions:
I aim to make the sessions as beneficial and plentiful as possible, but go at the speed you require, so techniques in which you struggle with can be described clearly.
I will use many different things including interactive exercises, diagrams/ pictures, websites, my A level/ GCSE notes, exam questions and more to make them as interesting, engaging and detailed as possible. I go at the level you require.
The sessions I prepare will for you will be what you would like them to cover, focusing on areas you find more difficult. If you tell me beforehand I will prepare sessions, find resources and exam questions to use, so that they run smoothly.
However, these are just ideas, the layout of the sessions will be tailored to you and we will do whatever style you prefer. No matter what, I will put my full effort in to help you improve and learn.

I met Ariana at school when I was doing my GCSE's. I was really struggling and she understood exactly how to boost my confidence and skills in English. In the end she helped me lift my mock grade from a 6 to an 8 - so I highly recommend her!
