About David
I’m a 24-year-old tutor with over 5 years of experience helping students improve their grades and confidence across GCSE, A-Level and university-level subjects. I’m passionate about teaching and enjoy breaking down complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand concepts. I studied Sport & Exercise Science at Loughborough University, followed by a Master’s in International Affairs at Penn State University, and I am currently completing a Master’s in Physiology and Nutrition at Loughborough University. This gives me a strong academic background across science and analytical subjects. Alongside my studies, I compete as an NCAA athlete, which has taught me discipline, consistency and how to perform under pressure—skills I bring into every session.

My lessons are structured, engaging and tailored to each individual student, whether they are aiming to pass, improve their grades or achieve top marks. I focus on building a strong understanding of key concepts while also developing exam technique, which is essential for success at GCSE, A-Level and university level. Each session typically lasts 60 minutes and is adapted to the student’s needs. We will work through difficult topics step-by-step, use past exam questions, and focus on how to answer questions effectively to maximise marks. I also provide guidance on revision strategies, coursework and exam preparation. I specialise in Biology, Physiology and Sport Science, but also support Maths and other related subjects. My teaching style is clear, patient and results-driven, helping students gain confidence and perform under pressure. I offer an affordable cost of £12 per hour.
