About Sanaa
I am currently studying A-Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science, having achieved Grade 9 in Mathematics, Additional Maths, and top marks across Triple Science, Computer Science, Graphics, Geography, and Business Studies, along with a Distinction in English Speaking. I have also earned awards in numerous mathematics competitions, including Gold in the UKMT Maths Challenge, participation in the Girls’ Maths Olympiad, the Bebras Challenge, the British Informatics Olympiad, and have contributed mathematics articles to school newsletters. I have experience tutoring students from KS2 up to Year 10, including GCSE students, focusing on deep understanding of concepts and applying them effectively to exam questions. My lessons prioritise top grades while building confidence and clarity, helping students overcome difficulties and develop problem-solving skills. I use personalised teaching methods, tailoring explanations to each student’s learning style through step-by-step problem-solving, visual aids, or real-life examples. My lessons are structured to identify the topics students struggle with, ensure they fully understand the concepts, and then test their knowledge. Once understanding is secure, we move on to applying these concepts through practice questions, culminating in exam-style questions to build confidence and exam technique. I use personalised teaching methods, adapting explanations to each student’s learning style — whether that’s step-by-step problem-solving, visual aids, or real-life examples. Lessons are structured, focused, and designed to help students develop problem-solving skills, avoid common mistakes, and approach questions strategically. Typically, lessons last one hour, but I can adjust to suit the student’s needs. My approach is ideal for KS2 students, Year 9–11 GCSE students, or anyone looking to strengthen understanding, improve grades, or aim for top marks. Each lesson is tailored to the individual, helping students master topics, gain confidence, and succeed in exams.
