About Mustafa
I’m a second-year medical student at UCL and a graduate of St Paul’s School, one of the UK’s top academic institutions. I achieved ten Grade 9s at GCSE and three A*s in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths at A-level. With over three years of tutoring experience, I’ve worked with students of all abilities — from those aiming to secure top grades to those who need support building foundational understanding. My students have gone on to exceed predicted grades, improve their exam confidence, and secure places at competitive schools. My lessons are structured to build both understanding and exam performance. I focus on identifying each student's gaps early on and tailoring lessons to target those areas. I place a strong emphasis on active learning — using guided questioning, worked examples, and plenty of exam-style practice to reinforce concepts and boost confidence. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and follows a focused structure: a short recap, teaching of new material, guided practice, and then timed exam-style questions to build technique and accuracy under pressure. I regularly revisit past topics to ensure long-term retention and help students spot patterns in exam questions. Whether preparing for entrance exams, catching up at school, or pushing for top GCSE grades, my goal is to make every lesson impactful, exam-relevant, and tailored to the student’s goals. — Mustafa
