About Louie
Hi, I’m Louie! I’m an 18-year-old tutor who’s passionate about helping students gain confidence in GCSE Maths and Further Maths. I have A levels in Maths, Further Maths, and Computer Science. I focus on clear, step-by-step explanations and do my best to make lessons approachable, friendly, and stress-free. I know how tricky maths can feel when it bogs you down and my goal is to help you actually understand the process behind what you're doing. I’ve been through the GCSE system myself, so I understand the challenges students face and how to overcome them. My style is supportive and down-to-earth, making it easy to ask questions and tackle problems without feeling judged. I promise to both improve your grades and help you feel more confident in class. I’ll work with you at your pace and make learning maths actually enjoyable.

Hi, I’m Louie! It's my mission to make GCSE Maths and Further Maths approachable and stress-free. My lessons are all about building confidence in answering questions, not just memorising methods. I like to break problems down step by step and make sure my students get a true grasp on what they're doing.
Lessons usually last an hour, but I can adapt if required. I focus on GCSE level students, especially those who want to feel more confident and less anxious about their maths.
I bring my own experience as a student who’s been through the GCSE and A Level Further Maths systems and knows what it’s like to struggle with understanding. My approach is friendly, down-to-earth, and supportive, so you can ask questions without feeling judged and actually enjoy learning maths.

I studied A level maths and further maths at sixth form with Louie and I don't think I would've got through it without him. Our teacher wasn't great at explaining things and I felt lost in lessons like I never understood the content he was teaching us.
Being friends, louie would reteach some topics I struggled with himself and not just show me how to do the question but explain how it worked, which really helped me. If one explanation didn't work he'd go at it he'd approach it differently in a way that I'd understand.
I'd absolutely recommend him to anyone doing GCSE or A level maths, he knows the content inside out and explains it better than actual teachers I've had.View more recommendations
