About Elle
I am a dedicated and approachable tutor with a passion for helping students succeed in maths. I left high school in 2019 and went on to study Level 3 Business, achieving triple Distinction*. From there, I began an apprenticeship in Human Resources, gaining valuable professional skills. I currently hold a Level 3 CIPD & NVQ qualification, and will be completing my Level 5 CIPD & NVQ within the next three months. In the new year, I will be starting my MSc in Human Resource Management. Having achieved excellent GCSE Maths results myself, I understand both the challenges and rewards of mastering the subject. My strong academic background, combined with my professional experience, allows me to bring excellent communication skills, organisation, and patience to every lesson. I believe every student can achieve their potential with the right guidance, and I take pride in creating a supportive learning environment. To help students and parents decide if I’m the right fit, I offer a free 30-minute introductory session. In this session, we discuss learning goals, areas that need more focus, what I can provide, and I answer any questions. Whether a student is struggling with the basics or aiming for top marks, I tailor my teaching to their needs and help them grow in both skill and confidence.

I offer personalised, engaging maths lessons for high school students aged 12–16, designed to build confidence, strengthen understanding, and improve problem-solving skills. My teaching style is friendly yet structured — I break down tricky concepts into clear, manageable steps, use everyday examples to make maths relatable, and give plenty of practice so learning sticks. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and tailored to each student’s goals, whether that’s preparing for assessments, improving grades, or building a solid foundation for future studies. I adapt my methods to suit different learning styles and encourage an open, question-friendly environment to make sure students truly grasp each topic. As a high-achieving HR Management student with excellent GCSE Maths results, I understand the school curriculum and the challenges students face. I also share effective strategies for tackling problem-solving and exam-style questions with confidence. These lessons are suitable for students at any stage of their high school journey, from Year 7 to Year 11, and for all ability levels.
