The lessons are topic based and work differently to school teaching. The aim is to create a 'big picture' for a topic. Often students have 1 1/2 lessons. Homework is usually set and reviewed the following lesson before the next topic area tackled.
For year 11 the focus is towards the final exam and the student will often take charge in saying what they want to focus on and how.
Usually tuition includes making the student aware of what works for them in their working style and what doesn't work.
