About Andy
Hello everyone, my name is Andy and I'm excited to work with you all! I have a passion for tutoring and teaching students through years of experience as a tutor and a teaching assistant for general chemistry. I am comfortable teaching both in person and online.
I graduated from UC Irvine with a B.S in Chemistry. I got my M.S in Chemistry from CSU Long Beach. Through years of coursework and research, I've become comfortable with all aspects of Chemistry as well as Biology and Biochemistry. I enjoy seeing the progress made from each student throughout the session and it brings me joy to see each student improve.

My teaching philosophy includes first teaching concepts and then using practice problems to reinforce those concepts. I understand that science is a difficult field, so throughout my teaching I'm very patient with each student and can adapt to certain learning styles.
