About Ishanka
I am currently studying Geography at the University of Nottingham, one of the top Russell group universities in the country, and I am confident in my skill and drive to support my students towards a successful future of their own.
Having spent 7 years studying at Queen Elizabeth's Boys school, one of the top grammar schools in the country, I am well equipped with knowledge and skills which I look forward to passing on to my students.
I am a hard working student who is enthusiastic to help and guide others. This was reflected well during my time at Sixth Form, where I assisted in running student support groups and clubs related to geography, maths and science to aid younger students with any problems they were facing.
I also had the opportunity to lead and assist the younger years of my school with my role as a House representative for one of six houses at QE Boys. This experience has shaped me into a friendly and approachable person, and has improved my ability to help younger students.

I will assist my students in learning their subjects in a more enjoyable and engaging manner, passing on various skills including revision and exam techniques to ensure their academic success. This will include reviewing the core subject material and further practice through homework or assistance with existing homework given by the student's school.
