As a trainee Geography teacher based on the Wirral, my approach to tutoring is grounded in clear, structured lessons that build confidence and deepen understanding over time. I specialise in Key Stage 3 and GCSE Geography, supporting students aged 11 to 16 who want to improve their grasp of the subject, prepare for exams, or simply enjoy learning more about the world around them. Each session typically lasts 60 minutes and is tailored to the individual needs of the student. I use a range of techniques, including retrieval practice, visual aids like diagrams and maps, and questioning strategies that promote critical thinking. My lessons are interactive and paced to suit each learner—whether they need help breaking down tricky topics like tectonic hazards or want to boost their exam skills through targeted practice. As a current teacher-in-training, I draw on up-to-date curriculum knowledge, recent classroom experience, and academic training from my postgraduate studies. My aim is always to create a supportive online environment where students feel encouraged, engaged, and able to make real progress. Whether your child needs long-term support or short-term exam preparation, my tutoring provides personalised, structured help that builds both skills and confidence.
