About Josephine
Hello! :) I am a student at the Humboldt University of Berlin and study German literature and English. I can speak both languages fluently and have already gained private tutoring experience. I don't mind reading through texts late in the evening and making corrections and comments. It is also possible for me to adapt to the lingual level of my pupil in the English area and thus to write both simple and complex texts, as well as to consolidate grammar and spelling in both languages. I also have knowledge of German, British and American literary history, so that we can also go through central literary works (or films and scene analyzes) and literary epochs together.

Especially with regard to my English tuition, I believe that at the beginning of each hour we should go through the grammar lessons that you as a student are currently going through at school. I would be happy to prepare worksheets in advance that we could go through together. If you already have worksheets as homework, I would also be glad to work through those with you.
Afterwards we can go through the material you discussed in your last class together and you can explain to me what you did and what problems you had. If you have major problems, you can tell me about them to me beforehand by email or the like and I will prepare a specific explanatory unit.
If you have essays or other texts to write, you can either do it yourself and send it to me for correction afterwards, which we will of course discuss in the following session, as well as try to write the text together with me.
In addition, I believe it is of great importance to focus on test preparations as well.
I think lessons of 60 to 90 minutes at the most are enough.
