About Martha
I am a modern languages student at the University of Cambridge, specialising in German and ab initio Russian. I have been learning German for 8 years, and have spent time there, including as an au pair. German is my passion, particularly speaking, and I have tutored it before. I love sharing in the language - one which I consider particularly rich and beautiful.
My other subjects at A-Level were English Literature and Psychology, both in which I achieved an A*. I achieved 98% in A-Level German.

My lessons would be tailored to the student, but would typically involve speaking as much German as possible to improve fluency and confidence in a low-pressure environment.
I would also integrate grammar and vocabulary practice into the lesson, with an option to include grammar sheets for homework, which I would be happy to mark.
I would be willing to practise specific elements of GCSE and A-Level exams, such as the speaking exam, or looking at essays for A-Level and discussing strategies.
