Hallo Studieninteressierte! My name is Miriam and I am currently a masters student in German studies at the University of Cape Town. First a bit about who I am as a teacher/tutor: I am a hardworking and resilient human being with a love for all things new and exciting. I possess a keen awareness of each student's distinct learning styles and comprehension abilities. This insight equips me with the proficiency to effectively tutor individuals, particularly in subjects where they encounter challenges. By tailoring my approach to accommodate their specific needs and preferences, I aim to facilitate a more comprehensive understanding and foster academic growth. I studied German during high school and have my bachelor's degree in German and Psychology. I have an immense love for the language and teaching it to others. I can tutor both beginners as well as more advanced students. I have spent one year in Germany, where I improved my speaking and teaching capabilities and have since tutored both privately and at the university. I feel that all this experience has equipped me with the necessary tools to teach this language.

Miriam is an excellent tutor with ambition for what she does. She makes you feel capable of learning and drives you into wanting to succeed which is an amazing quality for any tutor to have. I had one of the best time with learning and improving my German with her.
