About Jasmine
I have an interdisciplinary educational background and I am passionate about helping others, especially younger generations, discover and reach their true potential. I am technically minded and detail oriented, but I am personable and I understand the importance of trust, respect, and dedication. I am able to not only help students with homework, but more importantly teach students how to better their own approaches and study skills so they can, to use an old proverb, learn to fish and eat for life, not just be given a fish to eat for one day.
I have my Bachelor of Arts from New York University ('17) with a double major in Political Science and Classics. I took studied political theory, American politics, Ancient Philosophy, and Latin. I have my Master of Arts from New York University ('18) in American Politics, and I wrote my thesis on identity politics. I realized that I missed math, so I am now pursuing a career change into computer science and data analysis.
I am an excellent writer and I have a strong understanding of grammar and vocabulary which is very helpful in english and social studies classes. I am very technical and detailed so I love algebra and pre-calc. I am able to provide math tutoring, essay assistance, and college application support and guidance.

Get to know more about their school life and how they are doing overall (socially, behaviorally, academically) to better understand the student's feelings towards learning. Based on this initial assessment, I am able to develop lesson plans that fit the style and needs of each student. A student who loves to read and do their homework will need different support than a student who is not enthusiastic about school.
