About Julia

My professional background includes journalism, teaching, and communications. I’ve taught English as a second language to new arrivals, business writing to Chief Executives, and just about everything in between. I’m very good at simplifying complex processes (like grammar!) and making them easy to grasp, remember and use. I love the process of teaching and learning, and seeing the difference it makes to people’s lives.

About the lesson

You’ll get a tailored approach that fits what you need. Sessions will be positive, focused and encouraging. I can meet you in person or work with you online. We’ll focus on your work and I’ll add exercises and examples to support your learning. Whether you’re a student, job seeker, in business or simply seeking to lift your game, you’ll build your skills and confidence too!
