About Dr Fawaz
Hi, I’m Fawaz.
If you looked at my CV, you’d see a lot of fancy words: a PhD from the University of Warwick, 25 years of experience in tech, and a career building Applied AI systems. But if you met me in person, you’d just find someone who is incredibly passionate about how the world works—and someone who loves helping others "get it" too.
I’ve taught in university lecture halls and spoken to rooms full of tech experts all over the world. But honestly? Some of my favourite teaching moments happen right at the kitchen table, helping my own kids make sense of their schoolwork.
I know how frustrating it is to sit in a classroom feeling like you’re falling behind, or staring at a science textbook that feels like it’s written in a foreign language. That’s why I started these lessons.
I don’t care about forcing you to memorise endless facts just to pass a test on Friday. My goal is to give you that "lightbulb moment" where a difficult concept finally clicks. Whether we are looking at the physics of a rollercoaster, the chemistry of a phone battery, or the biology of how our own bodies fight off a cold, I promise to make it make sense.
When I’m not teaching or working with AI, you can usually find me exploring the vibrant streets of Liverpool and London, drinking too much coffee, or experimenting with new tech gadgets.
I don’t want to just help you pass your GCSEs.

What our lessons actually feel like?
Let’s be honest: science textbooks can be incredibly dry. It’s easy to get lost in a sea of definitions, complicated diagrams, and formulae that feel totally disconnected from real life.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, it’s not your fault—you just haven't had it explained the right way yet.
In these lessons, we throw out the boring lectures.
Here is how we actually do things:
We talk like normal humans. We don't just throw big words at you. We break down the scariest topics in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics using simple, everyday analogies.
It’s a conversation, not a lecture. You’re never just sitting there staring at a screen. We use interactive tools where you can visually see how atoms bond, how electricity flows, or how cells divide.
We crack the exam "code. Examiners love to word questions in the most confusing way possible. We’ll look at past papers together and treat them like a puzzle. I’ll show you exactly what keywords the examiner is looking for so you can get your marks and get out.
