About Viggo
I am an experienced French tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, specialising in High School and College students, and I have successfully trained around 150 to 200 students. My teaching philosophy is centred on understanding and consistency.
I believe that students learn best when they are given clear explanations and enough practice to apply their knowledge. I focus on building a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary while also improving communication skills through speaking exercises.
I use simple explanations, real-life situations, and structured lessons to make learning effective. One of my key achievements is helping students who initially lacked confidence become comfortable and fluent in using French. I am dedicated to helping students achieve both academic success and long-term language skills.

My French teaching methodology is focused on making learning practical, adaptable, and enjoyable. I use real-life examples, case studies, and conversation-based activities to help students understand how the language is applied in everyday life.
I maintain flexibility, adjusting lessons to each student’s level, learning pace, and objectives to ensure progress and comfort. I emphasise collaboration through interactive exercises, discussions, and role-plays, which improve fluency, comprehension, and confidence.
I also provide a compassionate and encouraging learning environment, allowing students to make mistakes without fear and learn effectively from them. In addition to French, I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, reading, writing, and cultural understanding for a comprehensive learning experience.
