I offer a unique blend of cartographic design and data management expertise. What sets my teaching apart is the focus on individual needs based on existing comprehension of material via delivered materials, the style of teaching, technology used, and student's familiarity with prerequisite topics and theory involved with GIS.
This method informs my approach for cartography with a tuned 'user-focused' approach which considers both the creator and the end user in every product, idea, or process, making the completed work not only accurate but also impactful for neighbourhood-scale issue mapping. Understanding the global context of geography is crucial, as it shapes political, social, creative, and economic landscapes.
