About Erika Valentina
He was born in the city of Tunja, Boyacá. He began his basic musical studies at the CEMA (Tunja Music and Artistic Studies Center) music school in 2003. In 2007 he entered the Tunja School of Music where he began his studies as a clarinetist with maestro Fredy Pinzón and He is part of the Tunja Children's and Youth Symphonic Band and the Symphonic Orchestra under the direction of maestro Miguel Ángel Pinzón. In 2013 he entered the preparatory in music at the ASAB District University in Bogotá and in 2014 he entered the undergraduate degree in Musical arts of the same. He has been part of groups such as the Symphonic Band of the District University, the clarinet ensemble of the ASAB and the Andean string ensemble of the same. In 2015 he was part of the Symphony Orchestra of the Javeriana University under the direction of Maestro Luis Guillermo Vicaria. He has participated in festivals such as: The first week of the clarinet in Tunja in 2011, the first week of the international clarinet in Tunja in the same year. Participated as a scholarship student in the 2015 Cartagena International Music Festival. With the Clarinet ensemble of the ASAB District University: the CLARINET-FEST International Clarinet Festival in Baton Rouge (Louissiana) in 2014, CLARINET-FEST International Clarinet Festival in Orlando (Florida) in 2017, Jeju international wind ensemble festival in South Korea 2019. He has received classes with the teachers: Fredy Pinzón, Miguel Angel Pinzón, Andrés Ramírez, Hernán Darío Gutiérrez, Mauricio Murcia, Jose Gómez, Benito Meza, Valdemar Rodríguez, Gabriele Mirabassi, Gervasio Tarragona, Ranieri Chacón and Cassandra Fox.

I like personalized work since not all processes are the same, I am looking for a technical evolution parallel to an evolution of the repertoire ... Depending on the student, musical initiation exercises are given, and others to improve rhythm, reading, fingering, intonation mainly focused on the clarinet etc. I also prepare for university entrance exams. Perfect! Muy buena profesora: puntual, clara, pedagogica y super simpatica!, llevo 4 meses tomando clases con ella y he avanzado bastante, recomendadisima!
Perfect! Profesora muy talentosa en su manera de educar al alumno, virtuosa del clarinete y con una gran paciencia y habilidad para conducir a una persona que como yo decidió tomar clases a los 53 años y que se beneficia grandemente de una instrucción bien estructurada pero consciente de las limitaciones de su alumno.

La profesora Erika es digna de confianza porque prepara muy bien sus clases. Respeta el proceso de sus estudiantes, se adapta al ritmo de cada uno. Es muy buena profesora de clarinete y motiva a sus estudiantes a dar siempre lo mejor. 100% recomendada.

Hola a todos!
Conocí Erika cuando los dos estábamos empezando nuestras carreras de música y en esa época (2015) ella me dicto las primeras clases. Actualmente retomamos clases hace unos 2 meses y siempre han sido dinámicas, siempre las clases están enfocadas en logros a corto plazo que dan resultados satisfactorios a largo plazo.
Ella es exigente pero también divertida, y está muy pendiente de uno es la profe que tiene un plan de trabajo y quiere resultados.
La ultima clase hace unos días fue buena porque, todo el tiempo estuvimos en movimiento haciendo ejercicios acordes a mi nivel de clarinete, si había algo que me costara hacer entonces ella pide que hagamos otro ejercicio que tenga que ver con lo que estemos revisando, pero nunca deja de estar en movimiento durante la clase. Me pasa material para trabajar (PDF's o imágenes).
La recomiendo mucho porque es puntual, exigente, divertida, dinámica, es paciente y ordenada.View more recommendations
