About Louis
Hi, I’m Louis — a passionate musician, tutor, and music producer based in Glasgow. I play guitar, piano, and trumpet, and I’m currently working toward my Grade 8 in trumpet. I’m self-taught in guitar and piano, which gives me a strong understanding of how to break things down and teach in a way that feels natural, encouraging, and practical.
I’ve spent years performing in school ensembles, producing music in my home studio, and working with others to create and share music. I also have experience coaching young people, which has helped me build patience, communication skills, and a supportive teaching style.
For me, tutoring is about more than just learning notes—it’s about helping students build confidence, develop their own musical voice, and have fun along the way. with experience helping and teaching youth i am able to deliver good meaningful lessons.

My guitar lessons are all about making music enjoyable, accessible, and tailored to you. Whether you're picking up a guitar for the first time or looking to sharpen your skills, I create a relaxed and encouraging environment where you can learn at your own pace.
Each lesson is built around your goals and musical interests—whether that’s learning your favourite songs, improving technique, exploring chords and theory, or even writing your own music. I draw from my experience as a self-taught guitarist, classically trained trumpeter, and music producer to keep lessons fresh, practical, and fun.
I teach from my home studio in Glasgow, where students also benefit from high-quality audio and optional exposure to music production tools. Above all, I aim to build confidence and a lasting love for music.
