I began tutoring at a community college STEM center, where I learned how to effectively communicate complicated topics in digestible forms. Through this, I gained a reputation for being an effective tutor that helps students achieve their academic goals. Since then, I have been a private tutor and developed study tools for introductory STEM courses.

I have tutored students at the high school, community college, and university levels on the topics of math (from algebra through calculus), statistics, chemistry (general and organic), and biology (genetics, biochemistry, and introductory biology). I have alse created study tools, called coursemaps, that aim to breakdown introductory STEM courses and provide insight into how to succeed in the courses.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to adapt to the needs and learning styles of each individual student. I use a personalized approach to tutoring that takes into consideration the student's unique strengths, weaknesses, and interests. This helps me create an effective learning environment that is tailored to the student's specific needs.
A typical lesson plan involves assessing the student's current knowledge level and understanding of the subject matter, identifying areas that need improvement, and setting clear learning goals. Then, breaking down complex ideas into simpler a digestable form and actively walking through practice problems.
