About Charine
I am a mature distance student at NWU studying towards my bachelor's degree in Education. Thanks to my hard work during my studies I have become a member of the Golden Key Academy.
My major subjects are Mathematics and English and I have previous experience of teaching my own students at schools. I am moderately tech-savvy which boosts the quality of my lessons.
I am also provisionally registered with SACE ensuring that I will at all times act professionally.

I am fully bilingual and this is why I can help you figure out what went wrong with your calculations in both Afrikaans and English. It is important to get to the root of your misconception(s) and then rectify it so that you will not continue making the same mistakes. My lessons are unique because I believe in collaborating with the student and thereby aid them on their learning journey.
Usually my lessons start with troubleshooting, which is followed up with an explanation of the topic that a student is struggling with. We work through some examples and then the student work individually on two problems to build their confidence and to practice their new skill. A quick recap is given and I am willing to share a summary of the lesson via email so that the student can refer back to it in future.
