About Donagh
During the Leaving Cert I learned that studying harder and longer isn't always more effective and that having the right approach is vital. Endless studying often leaves students more exhausted than informed so I’m a firm believer in having a life outside of studies. All through secondary school sport remained an important part of my life, so I understand school-life balance. I recognise
the load the LC puts on students and want to share the experience I've had with it in order to help students through it themselves. Through my studies of German, Construction and PE, I understand project and oral work, as well as the preparation and organisation it takes to excel in these subject areas.

I believe the whole point of grinds is for the students to gain understanding on topics they can't fully grasp from classes, so I try to provide an in depth explanation of topics rather than having them rote learn information. I provide worked examples, correct questions and show the students how to think through and logically solve problems. Having recently completed the Leaving Cert, I believe I can provide very valuable and relevant advice to the students about the workload of various subjects.
