About Kimberly
I am working on my degree in cellular/molecular biology with a focus in neurobiology. I am a sophomore in college with a 4.0 GPA who loves teaching students to be successful in their studies of the sciences. I am also in the Honors program at my school and also in the STEM program. I like to assess my students individual needs in order to develop strong study habits based on individual strength and weaknesses in the given course. I always send an outline before the session of topics I will be covering so the student can mentally prepare their own questions on the material, I find this method maximizes time and efficiency of sessions. I like to keep lessons relevant with real life references which is just usually some course related videos to enhance understanding. I work to develop successful study and test preparation in order to build student confidence and foster independence.
