About Kashvi
Hi, I’m Kashvi, a BSc Finance Student at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). My own background in mathematics is quite profound having received an A* (with 97%) in IGCSE Extended Maths and a 7 in IB Maths AI HL.

Having studied the courses I intend to teach myself, I am aware of challenges students face when preparing for their GCSE and IB maths exams. For most students, these are notably the hardest modules they undertake but with the right approach when studying, these courses can be quite scoring. My aim as a tutor is to help students achieve the highest grades by creating study methods that will reinforce conceptual learning. These include constant practice, engagement with exam style material and development of crucial problem-solving skills. To achieve these aims, each of my classes will comprise of the following: 1. Discussion of doubts from the previous lecture 2. Introduction to new concepts 3. Solving exam style questions by the teacher to show implications of the theory and how to solve problems under the particular theory. 4. In class practice of exam style questions by the student. My classes will focus heavily on exam style questions simply to prepare students to flourish during this eventuality.
