About Christina
I've just completed my teaching experience in Paris through the Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF). I graduated from UNCC as a French major and a foreign language education minor. My passion for French started in IB French from high school. Since then, I've taught French at high schools, middle schools, and even a language immersion school in Charlotte. Studying abroad and living with a host family in Lyon, France for a semester had also given me a colloquial approach to the language and culture as well.
I recently graduated from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies for a Master's in International Education Management with a focus in French. I am now based in California.

I believe in engaging lesson plans that include both language and culture to be the most effective way students learn. I've also found that using meaningful lessons that are applicable to real-life experiences encourages students to use French with a purpose.

Perfect! Christina was an excellent French tutor and helped me tremendously with my intermediate level college course. She is extremely knowledgeable in French and a great teacher. She was able to explain concepts clearly and organize the information in a way that was easy for me to understand. She reinforced skills that I needed help with to progress to new concepts. I learned so much from her. She was really positive and gave me confidence speaking and writing in French. She was reliable and extremely flexible in scheduling sessions during my fast paced summer course. I highly recommend her for any level of French. She's the best!
