I like to teach others subjects such as math by first asking them what they know and seeing how they understand it. Being able to know what thought process goes through a student's mind as they try and learn a new concept is the best way for me to adapt my teaching to them. I usually start from what they know, review it with them and then start going into the newer stuff. At my school, I've often been the one most students would come to when needing help and that's really what helped me get better at teaching others. I also like seeing others finally understand things they didn't understand before which is why I enjoy helping others so much. My lessons would be for students ranging from elementary to high school.
