About Mamontsi
I am an MSc-qualified educator, former university lecturer and experienced private tutor with a background in Physical Science, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
I specialise in helping Grade 10–12 learners understand Physical Science rather than simply memorising procedures.
My lessons combine conceptual explanations, worked calculations, practical examples and examination-style questions. I particularly focus on helping learners understand why a method works and how to recognise which approach to use when facing an unfamiliar question.
I currently work with learners on topics such as mechanics, electricity, chemical reactions, stoichiometry, organic chemistry, rates of reaction, energy and other Grade 10–12 Physical Science concepts.

We begin by identifying the concept or skill that is causing difficulty. I then break it down into manageable steps, work through examples with the learner and gradually move toward independent exam-style problem-solving.
