I am a Grade 8 Piano practical and music theory teacher offering both in-person and online lessons. With a strong academic background, achieving an A in GCE A-Level General Paper and a B in Literature. I emphasise clear communication, structured thinking, and creative expression in my teaching.
My lessons are personalised to each student’s learning pace and goals. For piano, I focus on building strong technical foundations while helping students understand musical interpretation, not just memorisation. Music theory lessons are taught through practical application, connecting concepts directly to pieces students play so learning feels meaningful and easier to retain.
I believe students learn best in a supportive and encouraging environment. I break down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps, using relatable examples and guided practice to build confidence.
Lessons are structured yet flexible; suitable for beginners building fundamentals as well as students preparing for exams who need targeted guidance, practice strategies, and exam confidence.
