About Mira
I am a Grade A math tutor. If you're looking for someone dynamic yet patient for you or your children, then you just hit a jackpot! I will explain the topic clearly, in either a playful or a professional form, tailored to your needs. I will go one step at a time, introducing a skill over one lesson, and taking as long as you need strengthening it. I will make math look easy and non-stressful, stereotypes and first impressions aside!

After a little warm-up with the problems we worked on last time, I explain a new method/topic, then the student works on some problems, practising the new skill. Homework includes 10-15 minute problems with the new skill each weekday until the next lesson. I also help with any homework issues the student might have. If there is a topic the student went over in school, but still doesn't quite get it, I explain the topic and practise this skill with them.
I set up a study atmosphere with soft lo-fi study music. I can book a study room in Coquitlam Library for up to two hours if you don't want to have lessons in your house or online. I use the Pomodoro system (30 min work, 5 min break) for efficient, non-stressful learning.
I teach all ages up until Grade 11 (G11 Pre-Calculus included)
