About Shelly
I am a bubbly, enthusiastic and caring person. My creativity and enthusiasm is evident in my class and I encourage
my pupils to enjoy their lessons through play and interaction. I always make an effort to be cheerful and parents are
put at ease and feel confident that I will take the best care of their precious children. I have many years of teaching
experience with 2 to 5 year old's and have a vast collection of materials, appropriate to teach this age group.

Children are very responsive to me and I thoroughly enjoy working with children of all ages. At nursery
school level I love working with babies 0 – 18 months old, and my favourite age group is the toddlers
up to age 3 or 5 years. I enjoy working with and encouraging the development of this age group.
My passion is working with children and encouraging them to learn through play and activities.
I also
have a very strong bond with all animals and would love to have the opportunity to introduce animals and
nature into every child’s learning experience.
An important focus
was the development of speech, and a different way of learning. The children were always very responsive to my enthusiastic, bubbly personality and mastered these skills quickly.
I believe that it is important to learn through play
I prepare age
appropriate, interactive lessons for the children ensuring that all areas of numeracy and phonics were covered in a fun way as they children learn through play.
I pride myself in being actively involved in the children's/child's learning process. I am there with the children/child every step of the way no matter the obstacle.
Getting to know the child/children as a unique individual, and forum a special bond with him/her is very important to me.
