Hello! I am a Bachelor of Secondary Education graduate majoring in Mathematics, with training experience through the DSWD Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program, where I developed skills in guiding and supporting young learners.
As a passionate and patient tutor, I believe that every student can learn mathematics with the right guidance and encouragement. I make my lessons simple, engaging, and easy to understand by using step-by-step explanations, practical examples, and interactive activities suited to each student's learning needs.
My goal is to help students improve their mathematical skills, build confidence, and develop a positive attitude toward learning. I create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and discovering their potential.

As a mathematics tutor, I believe that every student can learn math with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement. My teaching approach is student-centered, focusing on the learner’s needs, learning pace, and current level of understanding. I explain mathematical concepts using simple language, step-by-step solutions, real-life examples, and visual aids to make lessons easier to understand. I also ask questions, provide guided practice, and encourage students to solve problems independently to develop their confidence and critical-thinking skills.
I usually begin each lesson with a friendly greeting and a short review of the previous topic. Next, I introduce the new concept using simple explanations and relatable examples. I demonstrate how to solve problems step by step, then guide the student through practice exercises. After that, I let the student answer similar problems independently while providing feedback and correcting mistakes when necessary. Finally, I summarize the key points, check the student's understanding, and give a short activity or assignment for additional practice.
What sets me apart is my patience, dedication, and passion for mathematics. As a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics graduate, I have developed the skills to explain mathematical concepts clearly and adapt my teaching strategies to different learners. I also participated in the Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program, where I received training in handling young learners. With my TEFL certification, I can also support students who need help understanding math in English. I aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning from them.
y lessons are suitable for elementary and junior high school students who need help building their mathematical foundations, as well as senior high school students who want to strengthen their understanding of more advanced topics. I can assist learners with basic arithmetic, fractions, percentages, algebra, equations, functions, polynomials, geometry, probability, and introductory statistics. I also welcome students who struggle with math, need extra practice, are preparing for examinations, or simply want to improve their skills and confidence. I adjust my lessons according to each student's age, proficiency level, learning needs, and goals.
My ultimate goal is to make mathematics easier to understand, enjoyable to learn, and useful in everyday life. I want every student to leave my lessons feeling more confident and motivated to keep learning.
