About Joanna
I am a graduate from Queen Mary University of London in Economics and International Relations. I’m looking to pursue a master's degree and the best way to keep on top of the concepts I have learned is to teach it to others. I was top ranked in my high school classes and I have tutored and been tutored before as well. I also want to tutor because doing work that has a positive impact on society and in this case the youth of our society is a major principle of my career aspirations.

Hi, my name is Joanna and my personal style when it comes to tutoring is to customise each session to your needs. In our first session, we would go through the basics of what you are confident in, what you are struggling with and what your goals are (example: earning a particular score for your GCSEs/exams, understanding a subject better, etc.). Every session from then will follow a basic formula of going through what you know, then going through the concepts you are struggling with and lastly some practice and revision questions to help retain all the information. Every session will build towards your final goal and will be personalised to meet you where you are and help you understand in whatever way is most effective for you.
