About Karthick
Driven by a deep-rooted passion for fostering sustainable living and environmental stewardship, I'm a Chemical Engineer (B.Tech, NIT Trichy) who's traded the lab for the field, working directly with NGOs on rural development projects. My hands-on experience as a freelance consultant, particularly with permaculture design, has solidified my belief in the power of nature-based solutions for a resilient future.
Beyond my work in sustainable development, I'm also passionate about sharing knowledge and empowering others through education. With several years spent volunteering and teaching K-12 math and chemistry across India, I've had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the transformative power of learning. I'm excited to connect with students who are driven to make a positive impact on the world, and guide them on their academic journey. As a lifelong learner, I'm constantly seeking out new ideas and approaches to deepen my understanding of sustainable development and environmental management.

My teaching approach is highly collaborative: I work closely with each student to develop a personalized curriculum and learning strategy that sets us both up for success. I believe that a strong foundation in math and science is built on attentive listening and deep understanding. For every hour we spend in class, I typically recommend around 3 hours of dedicated study time, with readings and assignments tailored to the student's needs and interests. I'm also happy to suggest additional materials and activities for students eager to explore beyond the core curriculum.
