About Emma
A recent graduate of English Literature from the University of York, I have had a passion for English for many years, and a deep understanding of the current English examinations, having sat them not so long ago. This provides me a further level of understanding of the course, and the student experience of it.

Addressing and underlining worries and issues with the student's understanding or confidence with their texts, to provide more clarity on how to approach the subject. For those at GCSE and A-Level standard, exam preparation and assistance will also be accommodated. All aspects of the course can be covered, including poetry, prose and drama textual studies within English Literature, and the reading, writing, speaking and listening skills that the English Language course focuses on, depending on what the student has the strongest needs for.
