About Nicky
I am a recent master's graduate of English. I benefitted from tutoring when I was at school and have learned how best a student might learn from a tutor. I enjoy encouraging students to learn how to get better at analysing literature in order to achieve the best grade. I teach calmly, patiently and constructively and help students to apply my advice to their work so that they can use the learnt skills in the future.

Typically I will identify the areas that the student needs help in. I do a combination of tutoring the student in those areas and then I will review written work and discuss any aspects which need work, teaching the student to learn how to get better at the subject. The typical length of a lesson will be between an hour and two hours. I have previously tutored a GCSE student who received a grade 7. I am capable of tutoring GCSE, A Level and Bachelor's students.
