About C Dawn
I am a mom of a child who is on the autism spectrum. I have been teaching him for over 15 years. I have been tutoring English as a second language and tutoring children from local schools for over 9 years. I enjoy getting to know my students to see how to ease their nervousness and get them to enjoy the process. Don't be afraid of making a mistake, it is how we learn.

- I get to know my student, likes and dislikes about Reading/English as the subject. I assess them in the subject matter to see where we need to work together. I talk with them about where they are having trouble and create a plan of action - I review the topics and then we take each part in sections - I have a neurodivergent child I homeschool so my patience and understanding that every child learns at a different pace and understands at different times is where I work to meet them where they are. - Lessons are for primary, middle, and high school students who may need additional boost of encouragement and understanding especially those who deal with reading comprehension challenges.
