About Kevin
I am a patient, and precise teacher, believing that reading and writing should be a fun and creative experience. I believe that understanding content is much more worth than just having the ability to read and write. We will develop your writing skills into a form that fits you, we will learn how to read proficiently with a strong pace, tone and emotion. I am detail-orientated and can cater to a variety of needs and learning styles. I believe in a relaxed teaching method where students do need feel pressured to get something right on the first try, but rather making small steps of progress towards an end goal.

Our lessons will be casual and friendly, focusing on specific tasks and skills without pressure and without feeling rushed. Together, we will develop the skills you need to be a proficient English reader, not only that, you will be able to understand hidden meanings and symbolism the writer portrays in text and be able to take a deeper look into a story. Your experience will be calm and at your own pace. Lessons will be 30-60mindepending on how easily we reach our goals for the lesson. I have 10 years of experience in teaching and a degree to teach year 4-7, but can also help secondary school learners develop their reading and do effective book reports. Your creative writing skills will also be worked on by writing stories that interest YOU! My teaching method is calm and patient, giving enough time to fully develop the needed skills before moving on to the next topic.
