About Julie
Hello, thank you for stopping by and reading my advert. Let me introduce myself. I am Julie, I live on the East Coast of the UK and I currently Teach at a Further Education College.
I didn't start out as a teacher. After studying Fashion Design at University I went on to work in the industry for 12 years. From designing Ski wear, to footwear to handbags and accessories, I was lucky enough to travel the world and see some amazing places allwhilst being creative.
I moved on to open an artist studio which I had for 6 years. I supoorted and encouraged people to explore their own talents and become more confident artists.
And now I teach. Having beenthere myself I understand how overwhelming building a portfolio can be. I know the frustrations first hand but I also know how it feels to get it just right and how incredible it feels to see reactions to your hard work.
I am truly passionate about passing on my industry experience and helping you to build incredible portfolios, nurture new skills and be able to confidently express yourself through your art.
