About Mitchell
My name is Mitchell Torres, and I’m excited to be your teacher. I’ve been working in education for over three years, teaching students from TK to 8th grade. I have a degree in Liberal Studies from Arizona State University and a teaching permit from the state of California. I love helping students learn and grow. In my classroom, I focus on creating a positive, respectful space where everyone feels comfortable and ready to learn. I use fun and engaging lessons, and I’m always here to support you.

I take a personalized, one-on-one approach to tutoring, built on years of experience working with K–12 students from diverse backgrounds. My method focuses on connecting English skills to real-life interests—when students care about the content, they’re more engaged and confident.
