About Bethany
I have been a public high school teacher in Arizona since 2021. I began my teaching career by teaching American Sign Language which is also a deep passion of mine. I began teaching art in 2023. I could never imagine doing anything else other than teaching. My teaching goals are to teach the whole of the student. Not only do I focus on a high academic rigor but also on developing character in students.

My lessons go through all the techniques of art and well as important concepts exactly like how I teach in the classroom. I encourage students to experiment and take risks with their art in order to find their creative abilities. I also help them explore different techniques, mediums, and styles that best fits for them. I also dive into the the theory and history behind art and art making so students have a well rounded understanding of the subject.
