About Nikhil
Hi! I'm Nikhil. I love Spanish and English and have always enjoyed teaching them to students. I have been a professional high school teacher for two years and a tutor for even longer than that. I like listening to Spanish music and watching movies from around the Spanish-speaking world. I also enjoy reading essays and helping students organize their thoughts to get their ideas across more clearly. If you could use some help with Spanish, whether in reading, writing, listening, or speaking, I'm happy to help! And if you need advice on how to write an essay, a story, or a poem, or need help getting ready for the SAT, I hope you'll give my classes a try!

I work using real media from Spanish-speaking countries to expose students to how the language is used by native speakers. I also dedicate a set amount of time for conversing in the target language. Along with interactive, research-based projects and a focus on grammar, I try to teach the Spanish language as extensively as possible while situating it in real world contexts.
I have always been fond of writing and English has always been one of my strongest subjects. Over the years, I have helped tutor many students in English for the SAT and helped proofread the papers of students in college for professors. In English and Creative Writing, I focus on exposing students to a wide array of literature and working with them to understand it while workshopping their own works. I also help review and structure essays.
