About Joshua
I’m a BIMM Bristol graduate with a First Class honours in Popular Music Performance (guitar) who regularly tours with my current pop/rock band (Martha Fay) and frequent the Bristol jam scene regularly.
After starting guitar at 14, I became obsessed with all types of music.
After playing for 8 years, I have gigging experience, a degree and the ability to play most tracks by ear. I also have advanced music theory knowledge and experience in the studio, on stage, singing and songwriting.
I love to teach and I hope to share the excitement I had learning as a teenager to as many students possible.

My lessons completely cater to YOU and your individual needs.
A common misconception is that guitar is too difficult for most people to learn. My goal is to show you how easy the guitar can be with the right guidance and a great attitude.
The first lesson would be a free taster session that would allow me to assess your ability and discover your musical tastes. I believe music is the most fun when you’re playing what you want to play so the aim is to figure out what you like, and get you started with personally curated lessons for your needs.
Alternatively, if you’d rather go through any of the grading systems, that is also more than welcome. The choice is yours!
