About Tyler
I am currently working in research at Johns Hopkins after having graduated from college this spring with degrees in both music and neuroscience. In addition to piano, I play guitar, bass, saxophone, and drums. My musical experiences range from high energy outdoor stage performances, to basement shows, to concert hall jazz programs. One of my favorite ways to spend time is just sitting at the piano, with friends or alone, and playing with no agenda, sheet music, or song in mind. My goal is to help you grow your creative strengths so you can do the same.

I have played in countless groups of all different styles, and my favorite aspect of music is collaboration. Together we can grow your playing skills as we develop your theory knowledge, comfort with improvisation, and musical flow and flexibility (very important when playing with others!)
