Communicative Language Teaching (CLT):
I focus on real-life communication, encouraging students to use the language actively through speaking, listening, reading, and writing tasks. This method emphasizes fluency over accuracy in the beginning stages, helping students build confidence.
I design lessons around meaningful tasks, such as role-playing, problem-solving, and discussions. This engages students in practical language use while learning grammar and vocabulary in context. I ensure that lessons incorporate all language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I also prioritize building students’ vocabulary and grammar through practice and context, rather than isolated drills.
My lessons often include interactive exercises like games, group activities, and multimedia resources (videos, audio, etc.) to keep students motivated and interested.
A standard lesson is typically 60 to 90 minutes long, depending on the student’s goals and attention span. This allows time for a structured warm-up, a core lesson focus (grammar, reading, etc.), communicative practice, and feedback.
