About Asa
I am a professional artist in London and I hold a first-class degree from Central Saint Martins.
I have three years of experience working in the Arts at contemporary public galleries such as Kettle's Yard in Cambridge and Bold Tendencies in Peckham, so I understand the art world and what makes art impactful and engaging.
My speciality lies in sculpture, ceramics, and contemporary art.
I have experience of teaching art and ceramics to young people as I run family workshops at the Building Centre in London.
I am an attentive and insightful teacher able to work with students at any level to help them understand the process, context, and impact of their work.

My lessons are for GCSE, A-level, and Foundation students who want extra input to excel in Art and Design. I also offer lessons to adults and those seeking to diversify or skill-up their practice.
I can help with:
- Grounding your work within a wider context, both contemporary and historical
- Design iteration
- Making a portfolio
- Creative problem solving
- Technical skills in sculpture and ceramics
- Composition and balance
- Understanding what you want your art to be and do.
Lessons can be taught online or in person. Either at your address or a location of your choosing within a 30 minute travel radius from my home, or at my address in Dalston. Students under 18 are to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
